An accident over thirty years ago left me with broken heels and a crushed right ankle. After trying all types of boots, (money no object) I bought a pair of 511 6" Haste three years ago. The support and fit was better than any hiking, hunting, or work boots i had tried. That pair lasted over a year of everyday wear, eventually breaking down in support. (I "roll" my ankles, thus pressuring the outside and wearing the sole.) My second pair again lasted about a year. Great value in my opinion. I'm hoping the 8" boot will give more support and service time. They were comfortable the first day, as the others.
