i have recently become a fan of clark's shoes, and bought these after being impressed by my pair of unstructured--also great.
this style, the wave, is so designed as to roll you forward as you walk--i don't know how else to describe it--so that, like a wave, your volition needs less effort. makes for a very smooth gait. extremely comfortable, almost like an orthopedic shoe, but stylish. if, as in my case, your profession keeps you on your feet all day, you'll be very happy with these. one comment, however: whereas i am usually size 6 1/2 M, i did better with these in a 6 W.

I have been wearing harness boots for over 30 years. I have had Durango, Chippewa and Double H. in recent years I have had trouble finding a pair of Harness boots that fit right. I thought I was getting too old for the style. I ordered the Dingo boots not knowing who made them and that they were probably not American made. I got my delivery and found that Dingo is a subsidiary of Dan Post. Excellent. The boots are made in China.

I put these boots on and instantly they felt like the quality of boots made in the 1970s. the fit perfectly and feel soft on the foot. time will tell but first impressions are very comforting. I am sending back the Chippewas I ordered along with these because the feel like crap and ordering a back up pair of Dingo's!

2 years ago I bought a pair of Made in America Double H boots. wore them for 6 months on and off. one day I put them on and the upper literally separated from the bottom. I contacted double H and they were like so what..........The on line store that I bought them from actually took them back when the manufacturer would not

I was searching for a walking shoe for an upcoming trip to Britain, where I knew I would be doing plenty of walking. I found these shoes, and was instantly amazed at the comfort. Still not certain of how they would be for many miles of walking, day after day, I decided to put them to the test. The very next day, and for weeks thereafter, I wore these (instead of sneakers) when I would go for a 2 mile walk every day. NEVER an issue, no sore spots, no blisters, no tightness or sloppy-feel, they were amazing! I have never purchased a shoe with such comfort. I went back to purchase another pair in a different color for me, and bought a "wave" style in men's for my husband. He rolled his eyes at what I paid for them (not through Amazon), but he changed his tune when he put them on, and wore them for the remainder of the day which we spent on our feet! He was amazed, and hooked. We both wore our WAVE shoes on our trip with never a problem. He has purchased a pair for his mother for Christmas. My mother, who has extreme difficulty in finding comfortable shoes, now has a pair and after three months, still has no painful issues with them, and the comfort of these shoes is beyond belief! Not sure about Amazon, but the Clark's Outlet store I purchased them offered a 30-day trial......something to think about.

These shoes are versatile in that they can easily be worn with jeans or dress pants without feeling like they are too dressy for jeans or too casual for a suit.

They are extremely durable and have lasted me over 3 years now, and I tend to destroy shoes very easily.

The good looks, versatility and price point make for excellent value, but what really really sets these shoes apart is how incredibly comfortable they are. I had no idea that I had simply gotten used to my feet hurting at the end of a day. I tend to sit all day at work, but the commutes in NYC require about 4 miles of walking per day on average, and I had gotten used to my feet hurting with all other shoes. (And I have about 10 pair). With these shoes it actually feels more comfortable walking in them than in socks. I don't mean that they are "unobtrusive" I mean they actually make your feet "feel good".

This will be my second pair.

EDIT: As an other reviewer notes below at first the heel digs into your heel for a day or so. After that they are incredible. Don't forget to use a shoe-horn or you'll wear out the heel after about a year

Clarks Study Grade is a sensible and comfy yet cute ankle boot. I don't adore them but desperately needed a new pair of brown work boots and these were better than a couple others I tried. The boot shaft is a bit taller/higher than most ankle boots, FYI. It runs a bit small as I generally wear a 6 and specifically have a 6 in two other pairs of Clarks, but I had to exchange for a 6.5 in these. Only complaints: the heel is a bit clunkier/chunkier than I'd usually do, and the hardwear (buckle and zipper pull) are black, which seems odd on a brown boot.
