We ordered these for our 3 year old, and after a small nightmare dealing with sizes and returns, we were able to get the right ones. I would say these boots run a little small, our kid wears a size 9 but we had to get size 10 for these. The boots look amazing and keep his feet warm. Havent tried them in the snow yet but I think they would do the job. Keen is known for quality. and for the price you pay we wouldnt expect anything else.

The timberland titan 6" boot in the soft toe and composite toe are unquestionably the most comfortable boots you can own if you are on your feet all day...my work days are no less than 10 hours. Although I had been wearing Dressport shoes for many years, the past 8 years I haven't worn them. When my feet started hurting over the past six months since I got a new job, I started thinking about Dressports again. This new model is different than ones in the past, but the promise of a comfortable shoe is assured! With my new job, I do a lot of walking and standing, but need to be dressed up, so the air sole athletic shoes are not a good clothing choice. These shoes fill the bill admirably, and my feet feel much better. Lots of cushion, and occasionally when I need to sprint to the bus, the shoes do well when running (other dress shoes are painful to run in).

The shoe style has changed, with the toe sticking out long. I initially ordered my regular (D) size, but they were painfully narrow and the length of the toe was something a character out of a Harry Potter novel would wear. I returned them for a half size smaller in the extra wide width (EEE). These fit perfectly and don't have the extra long evil wizard toes, that I tend to trip on.

This is my second pair. My first pair were the unisex muck boots. They were very comfortable but clunky. They lasted me for 10 years of heavy use before the rubber cracked. This is a 2 pronged review. First, the boot. I am a happy owner of 2 pairs of Merrell glove shoes, which are flat, thin soled, have the total lack of support I'm looking for and are simply awesome. Next best thing to being barefoot. I was hoping for a similar experience with the Glove boot. Au contraire. This boot has a stiff, built-up sole with a definite drop from heel to toe, and is more narrow and less flexible than the shoes in the same line. it's a different beast entirely. This alone would get it 2 or 3 stars.

As for the reason for the one star, the order was fulfilled by Planetshoes, but there is a little fine print problem with returns: if you order it through Amazon and have to return it, you will be charged $6.95 for the privilege. According to the chat session I just had with Planetshoes, this only happens if you order through Amazon. So my advice: if you're going to buy some footwear and aren't absolutely sure about the style and size, don't order through Amazon. Go directly to Zappos or Planetshoes, where there is a free return policy.

Dunham by New Balance Men's Battery Park Slip On,Black,15 B US Review

I purchased a pair of these shoes two years ago and have found them to be very comfortable and versitile. They look fine with jeans and slacks, but they are not a dress shoe. The soles have good traction, and they really are waterproof--they have kept my feet dry even during extended walks in the rain and stomping through puddles.

And they are durable! I have worn these every day from 3/2010 through 4/2012--literally. More than two years. Mostly around town, but some light hiking and mountain biking too. The soles are still in good shape--just beginning to show wear on the heels, and a couple of weeks ago the stitching began to fail in places on the left shoe. I came close to having them repaired...still might...but am ordering a new pair.

It is very nice to be able to wear the same comfortable pair of shoes for most any activity, rain or shine, indoor or out.

Perhaps they are not as stylish as an Italian loafer or a dressy Oxford, but they look fine--and their comfort, durability, and versatility just can't be beat.
