Nike Air Max+ 95+bb Men's Running Shoes Size 11.5 Review

I'm not so sure that these shoes are more for show, than for go. They have slightly pointed toes, but give my 10D feet excellent fit when the strings are pulled tight. They look awesome. I wore the pair for the first time to the grocery store and had three women from out of the blue strike up conversations with me. Having now put approximately 100 miles on these shoes I can say that they are not my favorite runners. The insoles are very thin, so replace these with a spare pair taken out of a used favorite running shoe and the experience will be more pleasing. I replaced the lime green laces with black to reduce the ice candy effect to keep the ladies away while grocery shopping. It seems to help.

This is my 6th pair of Vivobarefoot shoes and my favorite so far. (I wore-out one pair, my teething puppy ate three, and two are in my current rotation.) All their running shoes feel about the same so the difference between this style and the others is mainly looks. I'm a fan of this light gray with blue highlights so now they're my favorite.

New Balance Men's Mx623 Training Shoe,Grey,13 4E Review

I purchased the grey, which actually has a suede upper rather than leather. I've worn the 621 and 622 and liked them both. While still a decent shoe, the 623 is not as good. Here's what I don't like compared to the other models: the suede upper does not give as much lateral support - in fact, I have to keep tightening the shoe strings throughout my workout; the shoe runs a little larger than the other models; but most of all, the forefront cushioning is not very good at all. Now, I use my shoes for working out and cross-training, so if you just want a walking/work shoe, this should be fine; just doesn't do that well with heavy pounding. If you get the 623 for exercise, opt for the one with a leather upper - probably better. However, one plus for the suede is that it is cooler and more breathable than the leather, so if you wear all day, something to consider.

Haflinger shoes are ALL that I wear. The wool clogs do start to stretch out after about six months - so I have pairs that I use in the winter and wear with heavy socks. I thought this pair, with the adjusting straps, would be ideal. I was sorry to return these shoes, but the straps are flimsy and there is too much of a gap on either side of shoe. These shoes would stretch out in no time and become unstable. I will stick with my favorite style - the Grizzly.

October 2012: The shoes are stylish and fit like bicycle shoes. If fact, I ordered the same size as my Shimano bicycle shoes. The shoes fit like gloves and the single Velcro strap firmly holds the shoe on my foot. The white bands along the heels give the black shoes a sporty appearance which limit their use to casual attire.

The shoe is a wonderful combination of an athletic and an everyday shoe. I hope the shoes wear well because I intend to enjoy them for many years.

April 2013: I reduced my rating. After six months, the Velcro has pulled off one of the shoes. Without the Velcro the shoe is useless. Diesel accepts returns for only 20 days after purchase and they did not offer to repair the shoe. I will need to take it to the shoemaker and have a new piece of Velcro sewn in place. Shoe repair costs $8

July 2013: Velcro pulled of other shoe. Shoe repair costs $8. Don't buy these shoes.
