This is a great boot. Not too high a heel and the stacked design gives it stability. I usually try not to purchase shoes/boots over 2 1/2 inches high. No worry with these as they are really comfortable. The leather (except for the toe area) is very soft and the style is nice, also. I wear a size 9, but usually buy boots (especially when ordered online) in a 1/2 to whole size larger to accommodate socks and just for general comfort. These were true to size, so I got the 9. I am very happy with this purchase.
