I purchased these flats very recently, given I liked the way they looked and their "try on" fit which seemed to have a supported sole and comfortability. I work in sales, so I am on my feet the majority of the day, and you can say I am ALWAYS on the look for PERFECT black flats. I hoped that these would be the pair, however, after wearing them for a few days, my high hopes diminished. They stretched out SIGNIFICANTLY and now when I walk in them, they feel like I am wearing slippers with no back support, they are no longer "snug" and are rather loose. In addition every time I take my feet out of them, the inside of the soles lift. Overall, I recieve no support at all when I wear them, and after a couple of hours they begin to really hurt my feet. For an item that I spent such a significant amount of money for, I in return expect ultimate quality. I have purchased numerous michael kors items before (mostly purses and jewelry) and have never had a compliant about the quality. If you stand for LONG hours and are looking for quality and comfort these shoes will not meet your expectations.

When I first tried on these shoes I loved them - super comfy, plus they're cute. I will also mention that the insole of one of the shoes was bent, probably like that from the manufacturer, so it made that shoe feel a little off. The interchangeable system they have is really nice. So, I wore them to class... I really do like the softer soles, but the shoe rubbed the back of my ankles raw. Unfortunately I was stuck in them until I could go back to my car to change into my other sneakers. I gave my ankles some time to heal, then tried them with a different insole. The thickest ones are the most comfortable and rub my heel the least, but after walking for less than ten minutes I can feel the backs of my heels getting raw. Also, I was wearing them with socks that covered my ankles every time I've tried these shoes.

Bottom line - they're comfy if you're going to sit and not walk. The soles of the shoe, as well as the interchangeable insoles, are nice, but the design of the shoe just wasn't working for me. I've never had a problem with new shoes rubbing the back of my ankles raw. I'm so disappointed! I thought I would love these shoes. I would NOT recommend this particular shoe, though I am thinking about giving another goLite shoe a try.

EDIT:
For reference, I have narrow heels, a borderline wide forefoot, and very high arches. I have since switched to barefoot shoes (Merrell) and have had no problems.

If you're looking for a comfortable, supportive shoe, yet one that is stylish and versatile (unfortunately these often don't go hand-in-hand!), this is for you. While it is recommended that you order a 1/2 size down for many of Sperry's boat shoes, that wasn't recommended for this loafer. However I found this loafer to run large. I had to re-order a half size down and may still go smaller!! I also think they are a little wide. Given that it will stretch I would order at least a 1/2 size down, possibly a whole size.

This is the perfect shoe for traveling - nice with jeans/pants, black turtleneck and trench! You could walk around all day and be in control on cobblestone streets, etc. Worth the price.

I was wearing the NB804 tennis shoe but they are all leather and really hot, and as they aged, the leather loosened up and I couldn't tighten it up enough to keep my foot from slipping. I wanted to move to the WC1005 but was concerned about the reviews noting the heel was wider/larger than in the previous model (1004) and although I have a wide foot, I have a narrow heel. After trying them on in a store and having the heel slip initially, I re-tightened them and changed the lacing at the top, and they felt great. The white/blue version is running about $40 cheaper on-line than the all white so I bought it. I've been wearing them for tennis several hours a day for the last two weeks. I have a bunion on one foot and normally have to wear a D (wide) width, but in this shoe the regular B width has been perfect. They felt great from the first day and I'm very pleased.

I'm loving this shoes. This shoes fit very true to size. They do take sometime to adjust, by this i mean they feel a little funny on the ball of your feet. After about 3-4 days i didn't even notice the solo of the shoes anymore. The light gray with purple accent is perfect for hiding stains or dirt. After a couple of week wearing them to the grocery store and mall trips i started to notice a difference in my butt and thighs. My pants started to fit better and look better, (I'm one of those people that have no butt, this sucks because pants are always loose or baggy). My butt begin to get a little shape(not a lot). I would recommend this to anyone that would like a little more shape or definition to legs and butt, will doing your every day routine.

These boots are awesome. Living in central Alaska you have to have a tough, warm pair of boots for the winter. I saw these in pink and knew it was meant to be. They are so warm, great tread, finger hooks to help pull them on and tread on the heels to help kick them off! So I have the Sports, rated to -40F and my husband has the Pros, rated to -60F. He is a hockey coach and is at the rink with his players 2-3 hrs/day, 5 days a week. When he's not wearing skates, he's wearing his boots. So far here it's gotten to around -30F, his feet and mine are always toasty in our boots. I wear mine every day of the week for hours at a time. I walk to my sons bus stop, play with kids outside at the school I work at, etc and never have problems. I would not recommend going hiking or hunting in these if there isn't snow on the ground, these boots are thick rubber and you wouldn't realize there's a hole until its too late. I think they'd be fine for winter fishing, hunting, sledding, etc. Some of the negative reviews talk about slipping or getting holes, I cannot imagine that unless the boots are too big or you are in rough terrain. They are made for winter conditions, hence the name. I have purposely tried to glide on the ice of a slick parking lot and these boots would not let me slide. If you buy these for the intended purpose you will not have issues.
