These boots are comfy and they have a really nice walking heel. I use them for my commute every morning which is about 20 minutes of walking. The heel is high, but also sturdy. It's very close to a wedge heel, but there is a small space. So, you have all the comfort of a wedge heel without the wedge look (which I don't particularly like on myself). My one critique would have to be that the buckles on the top REALLY dig into my legs when I cross them. Other than that, I really like them.
