Most light, comfortable shoe I own...but...because of the material the soles are made of, they wear out pretty fast. With everyday use, they were well worn in 3-4 months (I am on my feet a lot and am over 250 lbs which could also be factors). I believe Rockport has a winning concept here (light and very comfortable), but improving sole durability would be a home run. By the way, despite my experience, I ordered another pair. This is my second pair of Reiker Celia Slip-Ons. I usually wear a US women's 8.5 and the size 39 fit perfectly. I have these shoes in Toffee and a Grey color and love both. They are very stylish - I'm always getting compliments on these shoes. They are great for travel - light weight, easy on and off for the airport, and comfortable for walking. I have foot problems (nerve damage and aging feet) and had resigned myself to always being the "lady in Nikes" because I was able to get the support I needed from my Nikes and an orthodontic insert. With these shoes I have found that I can wear something else, look "au courant" and not end up with sore feet. These are great shoes!

These boots are very comfortable and provide good feel while riding. They have a great fit and can be worn with jeans, even when not riding. I would not recommend them for cold weather riding without lining.

KEEN Utility Women's Detroit Mid Steel Toe Work Boot,Black Olive/Madder Brown,6.5 M US Review

My review (4 stars) is based on my initial impression, and wearing (inside the house) of these boots. They are comfortable, and true to size. I generally wear a 9.5 wide tennis shoe (other shoe styles may vary for me), so that is the size I ordered, with some apprehension. These are a near perfect fit. I would like some more room in the toe box, but the fit is actually fine there too. The arch support is excellent as well (I have normal arches).

The shoe isn't cute, or small- but then again, it is an industrial work boot with a steel toe... it does look more stylish than most of the women's (and men's) work boots out there.

These boots seem solidly constructed (I'll update later how well they actually hold up in the field), but are still reasonably light for work boots... much lighter than other steel toe shoes I've owned. So far they are easy to tie and move around in.

I've noticed lately that descriptions for many products on Amazon, such as this one, are inadequate. If you're ordering safety shoes, you most likely need them to comply with some safety policy (in my case I needed waterproof, steel toe, electrical hazard shoes), and this information should be clearly listed for the consumer. Since whoever listed this on Amazon failed to put any relevant safety information of this shoe in the description, I pulled some specs off Keen website, the important one being that it meets ASTM, ANSI standards:

I have had these shoes for almost a year, and am still pleased with them. The construction is holding together well, and the shoes function as they should. I've walked through some soggy fields, slushy snow, and they've been splashed with sludge, wastewater,etc. and have kept my feet clean and dry. Due to the color of the shoes, they don't really look especially dirty after all this. I've also spent some long days in these shoes, and support and comfort of these is good. The steel toe and mid-ankle rise have definitely helped to prevent or at least minimize foot injuries on a few occasions as well. I would definitely buy this brand and model of safety shoes again.
