I have EMU , Uggs, bear paws, and minnetonka boots. I Love the minnetonka the best. I like how sturdy they are and how comfortable they are. I also Love the silver hardware that's usually on mninnetonka boots. When I need boots or shoes, I always check minnetonka first since all the shoes and boots I have from minnetonka are just great! I would highly recommend these boots. I purchased the gray which is very nice. I also have the minnetonka tan fringed boot which is nice also. I have large ankles but have no problem getting these boots on and off.

Shimano 2014 Men's Mountain Bike Shoe - SH-M162 (White/Black - 42) Review

I ordered these online. Although I normally wear 8.5 I ordered a 44. It is a little loose but 43 was tight. So I went for a 44 and I wear them with thick socks. Unfortunately shimano doesn't have half sizes. My previous shimano shoes were 44 too. Shimano's sizing has always been a little awkward. So before ordering it better go to a bike store and try them on. See what size your feet are in Shimano's scale :). The shoes are quite rigid. I really like it. Wraps the foot nice and tight. I leave the bottom velcro a little loose. The middle one tight. And the top one real snug. It has a reflective stripe on the heel cup. I take a star because of the sizing. Other than that the shoes are great.

For such an expensive shoe, the build quality is questionable at best. I bought these for my wife and had to return the first pair because the shoes were different lengths! The toe shape on each shoes was completely different. Fortunately, the return process was painless - Thank you Amazon! The scond pair were better but still not at all well made - the heels are a different shape. Disapponted and will probably stick with cheaper shoes in the future.
