I was looking to replace an uncomfortable high heeled black bootie and you know what - these don't look at all comfortable. I didn't have high hopes, but they were so cute I thought I'd give it a go. And I'm so glad I did. There is an internal platform so they don't walk like 4 1/2 inch shoes - I walked about 4 blocks to get a taxi, stood at a party for several hours and....when I took them off my feet weren't throbbing and they didn't hurt the next day. If I could get these in every color/finish, I would - a great shoe. The suede is nice and soft and the bit of gold detailing at the toe, combined with the buckles and the fringe say, "designer shoe." A winner in every way.
