I've been wearing a pair of these heavy-duty boots for about 4 years, and for those of us who appreciate not having to lace tall work boots, yet demand that our boots last for more than one season, these do fit the bill. Never a wet sock, and the toe box is roomy. A storm welt surrounds the thick sole, eliminating the need to apply waterproofing to that area. The sizing, at least for me, is on the money. That said, comfort is a major issue for me, and how I judge that is, at the end of a long day, and the least of my complaints have anything to do with boots. Excellent clodhoppers
