I was super concerned about sizing, as I can wear between a 7.5 and an 8 (never above or below that). Lately, I've found that I always take a 7.5, so I was hesitant, to say the least, to order an 8 based on reviews that sometimes went either way (thought most reviews said order a size up - and I include reviews from other sites as well in that generalization). When I got the shoes, I took them out of the box and immediately said to my friends, "These are going to be too big." They didn't look huge, but they looked bigger than my other shoes (longer, not wider). I lined them up with the soles of the boots I was wearing, and they were definitely longer. However, when I put them on and walked around, my heels didn't move at all - not a bit of sloshing. My three smallest toes were just where they should be in a shoe, though my big and second toe were about 5/8 -3/8 inches away from the tip of the shoe. I decided it's just the style of menswear shoes, as I made my male friend stand up and measure his toes, too. They do not resemble skis, for anyone worried - they are just a tad longer than my other shoes.

The construction is nice and comfortable, though I'm slightly worried that the soles will need a cobbler at some point because I love wearing the shoes so much. The overall fit is like a glove, and that is not an exaggeration. So, if you are between sizes with a regular width - I'd just get your larger size.
