I call these my Lamborghini,s. My father was a cobbler and when I was a young teenager ( late 60,s 70,s) he used to modify the arch,s of my sneakers and ski jumping boots. Well long and behold right out of the box that same footbed feeling, the salewa wildfire . Fits like a hockey skate from the arch to the heel and feels like a super sneaker from the arch to the toe. I have a EE width foot, no problem, your heel locks into the cup of the shoe with a solid feeling and the arch is all there. Plenty of room in the toe area and can be easily adjusted with the laces or the multi layered insert. I bought my first pair last week , I use them for trail running, I was so impressed with this shoe I just recently purchased another pair for all around. I probably went overboard with the second pair but my feet haven't felt this good in 30 years.
