This boot has a really soft upper shaft, very nice to walk a-lot in. I read very few people talking about how boots fit in relation to their own size. If I say it fits great, its NO help to shoppers who will ask, "whats your size" bonehead. I wear a 9 1/2 medium in everything I wear, always have, and no matter the brand of SHOE, they fit. Every time. However these boots, and maybe most cowboy boots must have more room in the toe area because it uses the wedge shape, to hold your heel to the back of the boot. Regular work boots are wide up front and your toes generally slightly touch the front and snug your heel in. So,.., its just my opinion, that a person should order these boots a 1/2 size under what they normally wear. Ive used these in the round-pen, fencing,walking all-over at horse sales, and they are sure footed, good grip, comfortable, cleanup well too. Right out of the box they look like youve had'em for years, and mine at least feel like I have. Great boot, lowers are really made just as good as any Ariat, or any other with a leather upper. Lowers have great stitching, heal is really nice, and sole has great tread. Id say give'm a shot.
