I have regular width size 10 (43 European) for all my shoes. This is such a dependable and standard size that I can order shoes on-line with out fear of a problem. I don't have high arches or flat feet. My feet size is really normal. Both my feet are similar and have never had a problem until this order. I expected the boots to be on the small side because without laces they could fall off unless they started off a little tight. Well they are very tight out of the box and I really struggled to get the right foot in the boot to the point that the right boot really hurt the top of my right foot.

I decided to keep them in the hopes that they will break in and feel more comfortable after a few weeks. I think they will break in after wearing them about 10 times for an hour or 2 each time they are loosening up a little.. I am glad that they are on the tight side because I think time will fix that and I am willing to go through the break-in period. Loose Inghams would flop around too much for me.

I use them to cut wood. I cut about 6-8 cord per year and need steel toes for that job. Also it's much easier to keep the saw dust and chips out with this boot as my jeans go well over the tops. These boots are perfect for that use, the sole is comfortable and I expect they will break in just fine given a little more time.
