I have the boots in bananna bread and like them very much. I get lots of compliments. Most of my shoes are Etienne Aigner, because they fit me well (size 9 and true to size) and are quite comfortable. I have small calves and this regular width boot fit quite snug. If you have large calves, try buying this boot in the wide shaft version. My feet did hurt after standing all day in them, mostly in the heel area. That is my only complaint about the boots and I did stand for over 8 hours straight!!On another note, the Chasity style boot seems to be very popular and sells out fast. So if you see the boot for under $100.00, beware that it might not be the leather version. Copied below is a comment I posted responding to a review stating that the boot could be purchased for $40.00 at TJ Maxx and that the material was cheap. I am copying it here so it gets more visibility and people can be aware of what they are purchasing. My post:
"The Chasity boot offered on Amazon is 100% leather (except the sole which is man-made). The quality of the material in the leather boot is very nice and not at all cheap, which is why I felt the need to respond to this post.
Note: Etienne Aigner also makes the chasity boot in all man-made materials (which sells at stores like TJ Maxx and Famous Footwear) for a much lower price than the leather version. You can tell the difference though. Here is how: First, check the color. The color of leather boots is usually richer and more mottled. The man-made material ones are a flat color, but its hard to tell unless you have both versions side by side. Thus, its better to ask the store what the manufacturer calls the color. The color of the man-made material used in the less expensive boot is called something different (ex. it is called Whiskey instead of Banana Bread). Asking for the color will help ensure that you have the version you want. Second, the inside of the leather boot will be finished in a suede-like material. In the less expensive version, the inside is lightly padded in a rough material, like a textured polyester. Finally, and most importantly, check inside the boot where the materials are listed and it will be stamped as to whether it is leather or "all man-made materials". If you are shopping online and can't physically inspect the boot, just make sure the listed boot description says "Leather Upper" like on Amazon before you buy!! Also think about the price -- is it even possible to get a real leather boot for $40? The quality leather in the Chasity boot offered by Amazon is reflected in its price. The leather boots will, with proper care, likely last much longer than the cheaper version. You can't compare apples and oranges -- real leather to a cheaper, man made material. In some cases, you really do get what you pay for."
